Hey guys, Happy Deepavali...! Deepavali or Diwali is the festival of lights. It symbolises victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance & Good over Evil. It is one of the most celebrated festival in India. And one of my favorites too!! We light Diyas or oil lamps and burst crackers to show the victory of light. And we eat lots of sweets! I've made a sky lantern (or Akash Butti as we call them). Here it is! Unfortunately, I didn't click photos of the process of making this. But I'll attach the video I watched to make it. Legend has it, that our ancestors and Gods visit us during these days. So, we hang these lights in the sky for them to find their way. There are many other rituals that are equally as interesting and delightful. There are different stories behind them too. Do check them out...! Click here to watch the YouTube video That's all for now! See you again, Namaskar!!
Have you ever felt your body shake with fear, excitement, anger, shock? Well, we all have at times. But how do you show that small shake, in animation? We achieve that through Staggering. It is a visual trick, where the frames of an animation is jumbled so that there is a loop in the action, resulting in a quiver in the animation. Here, I have tried to do two methods of stagger. In the first one, I have drawn on each frame. In the second one, I have moved the same image around. Each gives a different effect. X sheets for the animation: Hope you enjoyed! Thanks for watching! Bye! ~~~~~~~Chinmayee. S
