Hey Everyone! New topic today! It's called materials and texturing... Here are some of the different materials I made in Maya, using the nodes in hypershade. Double Sided Plane: Here, I added two textures to one plane, with the help of condition node. Brick Wall: I used Grid node to get this output. Glass: I used Anisotropic material to make this look like glass. Apple: I used Layered Texture here to get multiple elements to work together. Wooden Plank: I used fractal and grid to get this output. Soup: The bowl was given double sided texture and the soup was given a texture that was downloaded. Rotating Ribbon: I did this using grid and ramp. Here's another one. I added granite to try and give it a glittery effect. Rim Light: This was done using Ramp. That's all for now! Thanks for visiting! Bye...!...
Kalighat Paintings or Kalighat Pat was an art form popular during the 19th century, in Bengal. This art style was mostly seen in the vicinity of the Kalighat Kali temples. These group of artists are called 'Patuas' A very famous artist in this style is Jamini Roy. I have taken his art work as reference here. The things I love about this art form are the simple shapes, bold colors, and the perfect line art. Here is one more drawing in this style: This art style might look simple, but it is not! Well, that's all! Thanks for stopping by! Bye!
