Meet Mr.Tomato
Facial Expressions.
They are a form of non-verbal communication. Our feelings can be conveyed without even uttering a word, if the other person observes closely.
Facial expressions play a very important role in drawing cartoons. Even if it's a simple eyebrow raise or a wide open mouth, every single line defines the emotion of the character. It expresses it's feelings.
The key in drawing cartoon expressions is
1. To exaggerate the features.
2. Break the symmetry.
3. Follow the weight/inverse rule.
So we were given an assignment in college. We were asked to pick a vegetable, and were supposed give it a face and express it's feelings by altering the features.
So, meet Mr. Tomato...!!
Well, he's a good actor, right?
Hope you have a happy day...!!
